Click-lock engineered wood floors are not only extraordinarily durable, but they allow for a fast and easy installation requiring no adhesive or nails. The technology of this product allows the boards to simply click into place while maintaining the same installed appearance as a traditional tongue-and-groove floor. Click Lock, otherwise known as a floating, snap together, or glueless wood flooring is ideal for homeowners who wish to install their own flooring. Not only do floating wood floors save you the cost of additional tools, but they remove the need for a messy installation and clean up. Plus, there is no need to wait for glue to dry. You can enjoy your floor immediately!
Snap together wood flooring features an industry-leading 5-ply high-density fiberboard core supporting a true wood wear layer. This combines the look and feel of a traditional wood floor with the dimensional stability of engineered wood floors. Our product is available in a variety of wood species, all of which can be used over a concrete or plywood sub-floor. Because of the way it is manufactured, our engineered flooring holds up very well in areas of higher humidity, with very little expansion or contraction. This stability makes it a great addition to any beach, lake or riverfront home. (See installation instructions for humidity specifications and details.) The five-ply construction is industry-leading since most engineered wood floors consist of only 1- or 2-layer cores. Additional ply layers add dimensional stability and the durability homeowners are searching for.
Note that our click lock floors are just as easy to uninstall. Simply "unclick" the boards and you're good to go.
