Step One: Choose your floor
If you are thinking of doing your own floors, you have come to the right place. Also known as a floating floor, click wood flooring is perfect for do-it-yourselfers. Since you do not have to work with glues or nails, there is zero mess. Simply cut the planks to the proper size and click and lock them into place. The planks snap together and have the same appearance, sound and feel of regular tongue-and-groove hardwood flooring once they are installed. Our glueless wood flooring can be installed over concrete or plywood sub-floors or in basements. All of our snap together glueless wood floors are humidity-friendly and can be used in beach, lake or riverfront homes. (Read our installation instructions for details.)
Step Two: Choose Your Accessories
For a finished look, you will need to order some transition moldings. We can assist you with this, simply tell us about your floor layout. We can also inform you about the different types of underlayment available and what their features are. We try to make the ordering process as simple and fast as possible for you so that you can have the floor you have been dreaming about.
Step Three: Prepare & Install
Could you finish your flooring in a weekend? You absolutely could, especially if you are set up properly for the installation. Keep in mind however that the flooring has to acclimate in the installation environment for 72 hours prior to installation. We recommend that you carefully read our installation instructions several days before the installation. Do not start pulling planks out of boxes until you have everything prepared and you are ready to launch. Of course if you have any questions you can always try to reach us and we will assist you throughout.
Step Four: Enjoy Your New Floor!
Think of how nice it will be to sit on your beautiful new flooring, taking it all in and knowing that you put it together with your own two hands. We are very proud of you!
