CLICK LOCK FLOORS

COMPARISON MATRIX

Our locking wood flooring makes installation easy and simple. No mess, no glue and no nails. The boards just "click and lock" into each other and you get the look and feel of tongue-and-groove flooring.

Also known as floating wood floors, click lock flooring is ideal for do-it-yourselfers as well as installers whose clients don't want a construction site in their house for a week. After you buy wood flooring, you simply cut the planks to the right size and snap them together. There is no need for costly extra tools, practically no clean-up, and no waiting for adhesives to cure. You can finish installing your real wood floor on Saturday afternoon and host a party on it Saturday night.

Our Click Lock laminate wood floors have a wear layer of real wood on top of an industry-leading and highly stable 4-ply high-density fiber wood substrate. All styles of these snap together wood floors can be installed over concrete or plywood sub-floors as well as in basements. These engineered wood floors are also humidity-friendly and are thus well suited for beach, lake and riverfront homes. The premium four-ply core is different -- and better -- than other engineered floor cores (of which most have only two- or three-ply). More layers add stability and durability to the flooring as they can withstand higher degrees of seasonal contraction and expansion; the higher the ply count, the more dimensional stability in the floor.
