Eco-Friendly - in Our Products and in Our Company

This company was formed with the realization that homeowners need safe, durable and beautiful flooring options, such as discount engineered wood flooring. We also care about the earth and we want to sell products while minimizing our impact on the environment.

To ensure that our floors are safe and as environmentally friendly as possible we have them tested by independent laboratories. We want our engineered wood flooring reviews, our products and our service to meet and surpass the highest standards. We run our business with sustainability in mind as well. See for yourself below.

We not only sell floors that use 1/5th the wood of normal solid floors, we also try to get our products from our warehouses to you in an environmentally friendly way.

Packaging:We ask that you reuse or recycle our floating engineered wood flooring packaging cartons as much as possible.

Packing material: We use FDA-approved packing materials made of organic cornstarch. They decompose in water and leave zero toxic waste. Our eco-friendly packaging material is just one of the reasons why our floors are as rated the best wood flooring products on the market.

Plastic wrap: Our pallets are wrapped in plastic composed of 3% post-industry recycled content.

Cartons: Our shipping cartons are biodegradable and are composed of 35% recycled material. When they are in good condition we reuse them as much as we can.

Corrugated packing material: All of our corrugated packing material is comprised of 100% recycled content and is totally recyclable.

Samples cartons and envelopes: Our samples cartons and envelopes are manufactured using eco-friendly methods and are wholly recyclable.

CARB Phases 1 & 2 - The California Air Resources Board has set strict emissions and indoor air quality standards. Phase 1 went into effect in 2009, and Phase 2 will go into effect in 2011. Ambient click flooring qualifies under both Phase 1 and Phase 2 standards for extremely low formaldehyde levels (under 0.05 ppm for Phase 2) in our products.
OSHA Air Quality Standards - Ambient locking flooring also exceeds the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards regarding indoor air quality of less than 0.30 ppm of formaldehyde.
E1 & E0 - Our flooring exceeds the European indoor air quality standards E1 and E0, with formaldehyde emissions of "effectively zero."

This means we identify and control the environmental impact of our activities, products and services; we are committed to continually improving our environmental performance; and we have implemented a systematic approach to setting and achieving environmental objectives and targets.
ISO 9001 - Our factory meets the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 requirements, representing global quality standards for consistently producing products that satisfy customers' expectations.
